Sling a solid black backpack over your shoulder.

Use some hair gel to create the "wimpy sprigs" hairstyle. Use a picture of Greg from the movies as reference.
The Movies

Wear old, used shirts. Try to find t-shirts that have a simple pattern, or are just a plain color.

Wear old, worn jeans, all of the time. Don't use crisp, new ones. Try to find old work jeans.

Wear any kind of grungy sneakers over ankle socks.

Get a black or brown backpack. It doesn't really matter.

Do your hairstyle the same as the previous method.
