Ryan Gosling plays the lead role in Drive. Released in 2011, this movie is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. It portrays the story of garage mechanic called Driver who also works as a Hollywood stuntman and getaway driver. He falls in love with his neighbor Irene, the wife of convicted Felon Standard who lives with her young son Benicio. After Standard is released from prison, he is pressed by a criminal named Cook to rob a shop in return for the protection given to him while in prison. The driver offers his help to Standard by driving the getaway car. However, the robbery attempt fails, and the Driver now has to protect the lives of Irene and Benicio from the mobsters.
