First of all you need to find out what it is like to be a hippie. You love the earth, life, peace and the environment. However, if you are not already a hippie, then do not try and act like something you are not.

Wear lots of badges, containing slogans such as love the earth, youth for peace and love, give peace a chance, that sort of thing.
Now you need to work on the bag, anything that's bio-degradable or can be recycled, that's the same as the pencil case. Try rainbow brights, felt or Tye die.
Customise your exercise books with funky covering papers and stickers.
Wear cool, colourful jewellery, and patterned tights

Your school may not let you do all of the above. So try and abide to the rules- however, bending them a little can't hurt.
