Look online at the American Girl doll catalog. Then go to the section about girl sized clothes. The link is here: http://store.americangirl.com/agshop/html/thumbnail/id/1734/uid/923. This is for girls sizes 6-20, so even teens can fit in some of these clothes! These clothes are the big version of your doll's clothes.

Most American Girl dolls have either curly or straight hair. If you have curly hair, work on making them perfect little ringlets. If you have straight hair, curl the bottoms under and keep the rest straight. You can style your hair in ponytails, braids, clips, pigtails, or anything that is cute and young.

Wear pink blush and some mascara, to have the baby face look. You can also wear some clear or light pink lip gloss. But, you also have the option of not wearing any makeup at all. Just try to make your face look as natural as possible.

Have good skin. Clear it up with a face routine made for your skin type (oily, combination, normal, dry, or sensitive). Exfoliate your body and use lots of lotion to keep your skin smooth and supple. Try to have baby soft skin.

Have good hygiene. American Girl dolls are not stinky. Shave/wax your legs and armpits (only if allowed), use deodorant and perfume, clean your body, and wash your hair every/every other day.

Wear clothes similar to the ones in the catalog if you can't afford the real deal. American Girl does have good quality, but they aren't too cheap. If you really can't afford them, go to a place like Marshall's or TJMaxx. There is one brand that has special occasion dresses and clothes that come with a doll sized outfit. Even Walmart has some cute clothes for girls that are similar to AG.

Stay in shape. Do some cardio and strength training to get fit and get to a proper weight. Also eat healthy foods. Eating healthy makes you feel better, have more energy, have nicer skin, and have prettier hair. It also makes you live longer!

If you have a heritage doll, then follow example. Be more fond of your heritage. Maybe celebrate traditions, such as clothing or food, or a special holiday. Also, accept other people's background and heritage. If you want, start acting like your heritage doll. Read her books and watch her movie (if applicable). Also buy any of her clothes that are available. Try to look like her and live in the same way as her. Obviously if you have Addy, don't abandon your baby sister with the slaves to come back and get her! Be sensible about what parts you can or can not do.
