How to Dress Punk at School

Looking punk for school can be very hard, since we have to stick to the rules,but here are some ideas so you can dress punk for school.

Steps

Start with your pants. Most schools don't allow skinny jeans, but in some shops you can find skinny cotton pants that you could add badges on to,or even zips. Zips look good and punk-ish.
Some schools have uniform shirts. If yours does not, consider a more fitted band tee.
Shoes. Black pumps, Doc Martens, Converse, skate shoes etc. You could also add onto these with badges, safety pins and fabric paint/marker.
Accessorize! Try belts, hair doodads, piercings and jewelry.
Choose an original hairstyle. Be daring! Believe it or not, girls can rock a mohawk. You could dye it, puff it up,anything you want!
Make-up. Black mascara, eye liner, foundation. If you don't want to wear make-up, that's fine. Being punk is about being yourself.

Black goes with everything!
If your parents won't let you dye your hair, try extensions or semi-permanent dyes.
Not too many bright colors, you don't want to look like a prep.
