If you have graduated from the college logo shot glasses to a shot glass that has a little bit of class, then grab your paintbrush and get creative!
Steps
Clean shot glass(s). This includes removing any stickers and wiping out debris or dust using hot soapy water and a soft cloth.
Dry well using a clean, dry dishtowel.
Wrap a ring of painter’s tape around the middle of the glass. In the event your tape ring becomes crooked, add a few more strips to correct the angles so you end up with a perfectly round circle.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Make sure you leave no corners or areas of the sheet exposed as the baking sheet will become your paint pallet.
Squirt glass paint onto the parchment paper and apply to the bottom portion of the shot glass (underneath the tape ring).
Using your foam brush, apply paint, moving from the top of the paint ring downward toward the bottom of the glass.
Allow the first coat of paint to dry for approximately 30 minutes. Dry times may vary based on the environment--cool dry area is best for a quick dry.
Apply two more coats of paint, allowing for 30 or more minute dry times in between coats.
Allow the glasses to sit on the parchment paper as they dry.
