How to Dress Up as the Torchwood Characters

Torchwood. You've watched the show and you really admire its characters. This article will help you dress up like them.

Be suave. So suave - with everyone. Jack is an equal-opportunity flirt.

Wear either a tan or black leather jacket. One with buttons is preferable, but zippers work too, since on the show you can't really tell because of the camera work.
Wear either a white shirt, a red t-shirt, or a black hoodie under the leather jacket
Wear a pair of dark jeans. They should fit well, and be comfortable. Consider pajama jeans.
Wear black boots. Any boots you can run in are good.
Accessorize. Spray paint a briefcase silver, and add little bits of plastic or cardboard to give it an alien technology feel. Buy a toy handgun, as a real one might land you in trouble...or dead.

Get a black slim-fitting suit with a two-button closure, and pinstripes. Lanto is known for his love of suits.
Style your hair. Do a David Tennant-ish hairstyle. You'll have to look at the show to see how he styles his hair.
Accessorize. Get a stopwatch (from the episode "They Keep Killing Suzie"), a pair of shades, a cool piece of alien technology (any episode from series 2 where he went on recon), and a small handgun (preferably a toy).

Wear a tan leather jacket. Whenever she's out on reconnaissance missions or leaving work, Toshiko always wears he signature tan leather jacket. Make sure it fits well and matches the one in the show.
Wear either a khaki skirt or a pair of black pants. The skirt is for when she's working at the Torchwood Hub, and the pants are for when she goes on missions.
Accessorize. Get red rimmed glasses (you'll have to look at the show to actually find a match), a cool alien gun, and a thrown-together handheld scanner thing.

Wear a black leather motorcycle jacket. Owen loved his jacket so much that he died wearing it (the second time).
Wear either a gray t-shirt with no graphics on it, a gray button-down shirt, or a red button-down shirt. The gray t-shirt can be seen on the series 1 DVD cover, and the two button down shirts can be seen in multiple episodes (come to think of it, Owen may not have changed his clothes as often as he should've).
Accessorize. You'll need a handgun, a pair of shades, and a doctor kit (stethoscope, syringe, and medical gloves).
