Do you have new clothes, or you're new to the site, but you can't figure out how to put them on your avatar? This explanation will help!
Steps

When you sign up for the site, you get to choose between different sets of clothing. Pick one that you like!

Click on the little naked avatar in the upper left-hand corner.

To the immediate right of your now blown-up avatar, click on "Customize Me"

You are now ready to dress up your avatar! Click the tabs to find different clothes. Click on the clothes to equip them or to take them off. The tabs under your avatar can change pose, expression, mouth size, and can be used to save your avatar when you are done.
Tips
- Save your avatar when you're done, but don't update your avatar a few times each minute - this puts a lot of strain on the system that hosts gaiaonline.com
- Some items have several poses with them. Pick the one you like most, and the box will disappear.
Warnings
- Always look at your URL address bar to see if it says gaiaonline.com
- Never give your Gaia password to anyone or use it on another site.
