How to Dress at a Non Formal School Dance

Dress%20at%20a%20Non%20Formal%20School%20Dance%20Intro.jpgDressing appropriately is one of the most difficult dilemmas facing dance-goers. Non formal is such a broad term, it's sometimes difficult to decide. This article will give you a few guidelines on what to wear.

Steps

  1. Think about how casual this party is. If it's really casual, try jeans and a top, but to be a bit more dressy add cute accessories.
  2. You could try a sparkly vest top and a cute denim (jean) skirt, make sure it is long enough to be comfortable but short enough to show off your legs. Skinny jeans look great teamed with ballet pumps.
  3. Accessories are EVERYTHING! Try diamond studs with a long necklace and a few cute bangles. Too many bangles can get annoying with a constant jangling sound so be aware of that.
  4. Don't go overboard with makeup. Keep it quite natural but add some sparkly eyeliner or smoky eye makeup.
  5. Wear your hair down or clipped back or in a side ponytail.
  6. If you're going to wear heels, don't wear really high ones!
